Ann Crosby is the owner and resident potter of Annies Little Pots. Ann graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from the University of Kansas in 1986. While continuing her love of pottery on the side, she worked in Advertising and Graphic Design in the Chicago area. Ann has two children, twin boys Ethan and Joe that are the joy of her life. She opened the store December 4th of 2004. All of Ann’s pottery is created in her studio, which is located in the store. She creates by hand, a wide variety of one-of-a-kind functional pottery. Samplings of her pottery items are: Serving pieces (plates, bowls, mugs) • Jewelry boxes • Vases• Wine Chillers • Planter Vases • Large Vessels • Raku Vases • Stoneware Necklaces • Wall Vases • Tiles, Large Serving Platters, Candle Holders, and much more. Our Metal Artists
Steven and Janet Van Trump of Morning Star Company in Galva Illinois. This couple creates from steel, high quality metal trellises, arbors, plant stands, garden flowers, frogs, fencing, sculpture, dragon flies, butterflies, angels, and more. These items are built to last and are absolutely beautiful.
Jerry Thompson of Princeton Illinois. Jerry creates beautiful copper wire flowers.
Frank Boggio of Hennipin, Illinois. Frank creates wonderful sculpture from steel.
Susan Berry from Princeton, Illinois teaches art at Bureau Valley. She is a painter and a sculpture. Susan offers paintings, fun nuts & bolts critters, wire paper weights and copper clocks at the store.
Shannon Mansfield-Cabba from Cherry, Illinois teaches art at Princeton’s Christian Academy. Shannon keeps a diary that contains no words. Instead, she expresses her thoughts and feelings in a visual manner using pencils, watercolors, or acrylics. Her paintings delight all ages. Shannon also creates felted and fabric birds, crochet washcloth sets, flower pins and barrettes.
Christy Joehl from Princeton is our youngest artist. When the store opened, Christy was only 11 years old and her talent is amazing. Christy creates beautiful greeting cards from her paintings. She works with watercolors, pastels and pen and ink - then scanned into her computer through which she creates her greeting card packets. Occasionally she offers up one of her originals for us to sell in the gallery.
Angela Pierce from Bloomington, Illinois creates fantastic multi-media illustrations, whimsical story boxes, as well as beautiful acrylic on canvas paintings
Lynn Lowe of Princeton creates fun greeting cards for all holidays and occasions. Her cards are dimensional and beautiful. She offers a wide array for just about every occasion.
Our Jewelry Artists
Dede Harknes from Peoria, Illinois creates stunning sea glass necklaces and bracelets from sea glass collected off the coast in England. The glass dates back to the 1800's and are quickly becoming a rarity The one-of-a-kind glass jewels are beautifully set in sterling silver. Dede also creates necklaces and earrings by wire wrapping beautiful stained glass and her new line of old china pieces.
Sarah Simonsen, DeLovely Designs, from LaMoille, Illinois creates vintage necklaces and earrings that are very unique.
Susan Barlow from Princeton Illinois offers her fun crochet necklaces.
Bath and Body
Christine Davis, Rachel Rene Bath and Body, from Tiskilwa, Illinois has a wonderful collection of all natural bath and skin products featured at the store. We offer her cold process natural soaps, bath bombs, and combo packs at the store. The scents are delightful.
Peter Fassino from Granville, Illinois creates wonderful bowls, trays and cutting boards from a variety of woods. All are treated with peanut oil.
Candles and Diffusers
We feature two distinctly different lines of candles at the store. Swan Creek Candles from Swanton, Ohio creates Clean Burning, Lead Free, Intensely Fragrant American Soybean Wax Candles. We offer their candles in votive and jar size. Our other candle line is from Archipelago. We carry scents from their botanicals’ line of scents in diffuser, votive and jar. Both lines of candles are superior in quality and scent.
We also carry quality, seasonal items from other vendors.
